Quite a good week for the market. Conditions were very good for an oversold bounce to start the week, and that is exactly what we had, but then we just kept going and going and going. The bears were convinced it was just a short squeeze and end-of-the-quarter manipulation that would come crashing down, but they ended up simply feeding the market beast as it continued to move up relentlessly.
This sort of trading usually causes quite a bit of frustration for many active market players. The only folks who were likely fully invested for the entire bounce are the ones that who been fully invested all the way down for the last few months. Traders who did catch the bounce are still unhappy, because they either didn't put enough money to work or sold too early, or a combination of both. It is very easy to feel a bit disappointed with your performance in this sort of frenzy, even if you did book some pretty good gains.
